Complex enterprise products rarely fail because one screen is wrong. Problems emerge across workflows, ownership, data, business rules, service handoffs, platform constraints, implementation decisions, and competing organizational priorities.
My strongest work makes those relationships visible enough that users, product leaders, business owners, designers, and engineers can make better decisions together.
AI should make work more useful without making system behavior less understandable.
AI introduces interpretation, uncertainty, evidence, system initiative, and new questions of authority. I design the human, interaction, and workflow systems through which AI becomes understandable, reviewable, and trustworthy enough to use in consequential work.
Complex enterprise problems rarely begin as clean design briefs. I use research, workflow discovery, stakeholder interviews, system analysis, and working prototypes to separate visible symptoms from the underlying system problem.
The result is clearer priorities, experience principles, decision criteria, and actionable direction that product, engineering, business, and users can evaluate together.
I connect interaction behavior with data, roles, permissions, business rules, service handoffs, reusable components, platform constraints, and long-term product direction.
Individual features should strengthen the ecosystem they belong to rather than create another exception the organization must maintain.
I facilitate across users, business owners, product leaders, engineers, researchers, and operational stakeholders so that disagreement becomes useful information rather than unresolved friction.
Workflow models, research evidence, prototypes, interaction architecture, and explicit decision criteria make difficult system questions visible enough to resolve.
Reusable interaction patterns, design systems, semantic standards, governance, mentoring, and implementation guidance help good design survive beyond a single project.
I have trained designers, developers, facilitators, researchers, and cross-functional team members while building systems with them.
At Booz Allen Hamilton, I led systems discovery, UX strategy, workflow transformation, service design, and implementation-aware product work across Navy, Army, and Air Force modernization programs.
I conducted 75+ Navy interviews and workflow studies across an enterprise HR landscape serving approximately 975,000 users, translating policy conflicts, ownership gaps, accessibility needs, service handoffs, escalation risks, and automation opportunities into modernization direction.
Air Force work included Qlik, R Shiny, NLP, RAG-based assistant workflows, source visibility, traceability, human review, escalation paths, and stakeholder-facing prototypes. On an Army geospatial application I designed and prototyped directly in Angular.
I also trained cross-functional team members in Design Thinking, interviewing, UX practices, assessment, and repeatable research methods.
At Softwise, I owned UX architecture and interaction design across five business-critical financial products spanning loan processing, point of sale, title lending, customer service, collections, and lending administration.
I connected business rules, user behavior, data behavior, interaction logic, and technical constraints while designing reusable Angular component and interaction patterns directly in the production environment.
I trained 20–30 colleagues in front-end concepts. Management credited the design/development approach with reducing development time by 35%.
At Ivanti, I led UX architecture across interconnected asset, security, mobility, service, reporting, and dashboard products and designed reusable application patterns including a dynamic query, filter, and condition builder for non-technical users.
At Novell, I led UX architecture and cross-platform system design across a 10M+ user ecosystem spanning desktop, web, mobile, and administration experiences.
That work included two consecutive GroupWise generations, browser-based administration supporting 10,000+ administrators, shared cross-product standards, and a semantic asset library of 1,500+ icons.
At AxisPointe, I led UX architecture and front-end engineering across SaaS products serving builders, contractors, facilities organizations, owners, property managers, commercial clients, and government environments.
I helped integrate five standalone tools into one coherent platform for a major homebuilder and designed property, facilities, maintenance, and construction workflows where digital information and system state directly affected physical work.
My current independent work focuses on custom GPT and AI-agent decision-support workflows around user purpose, evidence, retrieval behavior, source visibility, human review, escalation, and operational boundaries.
I design, test, and calibrate corpus structure, retrieval behavior, instruction hierarchy, model constraints, evidence standards, scoring, and output behavior against real decision needs—including drift, conflicting evidence, false positives and negatives, and edge cases.
